Business & Technology Center Computers

Nine computer workstations are now available in our Business & Technology Center, along with printing and scanning services (below).

Please note these important details:

  • Customers will be able to make reservations of up to 60 minutes through the Library website. If no other customers are waiting for a computer, reservations may be extended.
  • Walk-up reservations will also be accepted.
  • Guest passes are also available.

Scanning/Printing services: Our Simple Scan Stations use touchscreen technology for fast, simple scanning to PDF, Word, or HTML formats, with options to save, email, or print. We recently updated our Simple Scan Stations to provide even more functionality: check out the list below. You'll find Simple Scan Stations in the Business & Technology Center and in Youth Services, both located on the first floor, and on the second floor in the Adult Services area.

What can you do at a Simple Scan?
FREE Services:

  • Scan materials to:
    • USB drive
    • Email (as an attachment)
    • Smartphone
    • Google Drive
    • One Drive
    • Dropbox
  • Restore Pictures: Enhance and/or restore faded or damaged images
  • Text Translation: Translate text to 64 different languages
  • Scan Text to Audio: Translate text to an audio file in 54 different languages

Additional Paid Services:
Scan-to-Print ($.10/pg B&W; $.25/pg Color)
Scan-to-Fax ($.50/pg domestic; $1/pg international)


More details about Scan-To-Fax:
1. Service requires a valid credit card.
2. Make sure the recipient is prepared to receive your fax. The system cannot notify you if the recipient's fax machine is unable to receive.
3. You may opt in to receive an email confirmation - please note that the notification may not arrive immediately, as the fax service will keep trying until it successfully transmits the fax.
4. The system cannot provide a printed receipt or confirmation. If you would like to receive confirmation, you must select the email confirmation option.
5. You will see a pending charge on your credit card after you swipe it, even if you choose to cancel the transaction. Your financial institution controls how long this pending charge stays on your account.
