Burning a DVD is copying a digital file onto a blank, writeable DVD. To do this, you may have to copy a digital file from another DVD where it currently exists. This is called ripping a DVD.
To Rip a DVD
- Insert DVD to be copied
- On the computer, open Wondershare UniConverter.
- The video converter should offer to open the DVD. Click yes and load all movies.
- At the bottom of the screen, find Output Format option. Select MPEG-2, which is the DVD player format.
- Change the File Location to Downloads folder.
- On the desktop, right click on DVD on desktop and eject.
To Burn a DVD
- Insert your blank, writeable DVD into the DVD player
- Click Ignore to Options that appear
- Navigate to the Downloads folder (or wherever your video files are).
- Select all videos you want to copy onto the blank DVD (Click-hold-drag)
- Click on gear symbol at the top of the window
- From dropdown, select “Burn [number] items to disc…”
- Name disc
- Click burn
