Burning a DVD is copying a digital file onto a blank, writeable DVD. To do this, you may have to copy a digital file from another DVD where it currently exists. This is called ripping a DVD.

To Rip a DVD

  1. Insert DVD to be copied
  2. On the computer, open Wondershare UniConverter.
  3. The video converter should offer to open the DVD. Click yes and load all movies.
  4. At the bottom of the screen, find Output Format option. Select MPEG-2, which is the DVD player format.
  5. Change the File Location to Downloads folder.
  6. On the desktop, right click on DVD on desktop and eject.

To Burn a DVD

  1. Insert your blank, writeable DVD into the DVD player
  2. Click Ignore to Options that appear
  3. Navigate to the Downloads folder (or wherever your video files are).
  4. Select all videos you want to copy onto the blank DVD (Click-hold-drag)
  5. Click on gear symbol at the top of the window
  6. From dropdown, select “Burn [number] items to disc…”
  7. Name disc
  8. Click burn
