NEW: many BALibrary cards are now eligible for automatic renewal. If your current address can be verified, our system will automatically renew your card for three years, and you will receive a confirmation email. If the system cannot verify your address, you'll receive a reminder email 45 days before your card expires, so you have time to renew your card in person at the Customer Service desk, or online, following the instructions below.
Need to renew your library card? Has your address remained the same?
Send your name, your library card number, and either:
- A scanned image of photo identification with your current address (such as a driver's license, state I.D. card, school I.D.), OR,
- A scanned image of photo identification along with additional proof of residence (residential ownership or rental, property tax bill, utility bill)
