William Frederick Craft was born February 28, 1929 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Mike and Alberta McKelvey Craft.
Craft enlisted in the U.S. Army on February 9, 1951, and served in Korea until he was honorably discharged as a Corporal on January 27, 1953.
On May 9, 1955, he married Esther Tabbert in LaPorte, Indiana; they lived in Streamwood by 1970.
CPL William Craft died December 13, 1989, and is buried with his wife in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
