Jack Ervin Arnesen was born July 25, 1925 in Chicago to Ervin and Helen Ahrens Arnesen.
Arnesen served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from October 7, 1943 to his honorable discharge as a Machinist’s Mate Third Class on April 2, 1946.
On June 28, 1947, he married Patricia Joan Mortvedt in Kansas City; they had six children.
Arnesen graduated from St. Olaf College in Minnesota before embarking on a career in sales and sales management. He was a stock broker, then became Sales Manager and Senior Vice President for investment banker, A. G. Becker & Company. He retired as General manager for Fullerton Steel & Wire.
He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and Elmwood Park School Board, as well as a volunteer at Good Shepherd Hospital.
MM3 Jack Arnesen died February 17, 1989 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
