Daniel Edward Wirth was born Apr 27, 1945 in Chicago to Clarence and Marjorie Meyer Wirth.
Wirth graduated from Maine East High School in Park Ridge in 1962.
He was married to his High School classmate, Janis Mies.
Wirtz entered military service in the U.S. Air Force on July 18, 1966, and served with the 436th Aerial Port Squadron as an Airman Third Class.
A3C Wirth was killed in a car accident on April 29, 1967, near Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. He is buried with his parents in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
