Jack Clifford Shultz, was born in Chicago on August 9, 1929, to Joseph L. and Mildred Woxen Shultz.
Shultz enlisted in the U.S. Navy in March, 1947, serving at Naval Air Stations Glenview and Corpus Christi as a Petty Officer who worked with radio frequency communication systems.
He and Betty Berniece Stevens were married in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 28, 1951; they raised four children. She passed away on April 5, 1980. He married secondly, Betty Rae Brooks on September 12, 1981, who preceded him in death on March 14, 2024.
After Shultz was honorably discharged in March, 1953, he was employed by General Motors as a plant manager, and later, founded his own highly successful business as a manufacturer’s representative.
He loved golf and a good debate, and was an avid gardener.
Petty Officer Jack C. Shultz passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024, and is buried with his wife Betty, in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
