PFC Frank C. Kirchman

Frank Charles Kirchman was born June 22, 1890 in Woodstock, to Louis and Sophie Schroeder Kirchman (d.3 Jan 1900)
He enlisted for duty in World War I on 24 May 1918, and served as a Private First Class in the 141st Infantry, 36th Division. He was in Europe for 8 months, and was honorably discharged on June 13, 1919.
On June 6, 1920, Kirchman married Lucille Manders; they had no children.
In 1923, they opened the Perfect Bakery in Crystal Lake and operated it for two years before they moved to Barrington. There, Kirchman joined a partnership in Schroeder Hardware from which he retired 35 years later.
Private First Class Frank Kirchman died at his Barrington home on March 16, 1962, and is buried at Evergreen Cemetery.
