Roy John Skoglund was born January 21, 1948 in Chicago, to Harry and Lydia Lutz Skoglund.

Skoglund served his country for three years during the Vietnam War as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army from February, 1968 to February, 1971.

He owned the Apple Company in Chicago.

Sergeant Roy Skoglund died November 10, 1994 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery with other members of his family.
