PFC Norman E. Homuth

Norman Elmer Homuth was born January 30, 1910 (1909 per SSSA and Railroad records), in Des Plaines, to John A. and Anna (Mensching) Homuth.

He grew up in Barrington, was working as a railroad brakeman by the age of twenty, and worked for the C&NW Railway many years.

Homuth married Annette Pecak on April 1, 1930.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army on July 7, 1944, and served for two years.

PFC Norman Homuth died in LaGrange on December 29, 1989, and is buried with other family members at Evergreen Cemetery.
