PFC Charles Brandt

Charles Brandt was born October 14, 1895 in Niles Center, to Frank and Mary Brandt.

He enlisted on June 26, 1918, and served in Battery E, 322nd Field Artillery in World War I. He was discharged on February 28, 1919, attaining the rank of Private First Class.

After the war, Brandt was employed as an Operator by the Electric Utility and later, as a machinery mover.

PFC Charles Brandt died May 18, 1960 in Cook County; he is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
