Corliss D. Anderson

Corliss Dunlop Anderson was born in Barrington, Illinois, on June 6, 1931 to Corliss and Catherine (Dunlop) Anderson.
Anderson graduated from Barrington High School in 1949, then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois. Corliss was an Eagle Scout, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.
He married Mary Kathryne Stuart on May 2, 1959 in Grand Rapids, Michigan; they raised four children.
He enjoyed a profession as a real estate broker in Barrington, retiring in 1995. He was active in Civic organizations such as Barrington Youth Services, Buehler YMCA, Barrington Lions Club, Friends of the Barrington Area Library, VFW Post 711, American Legion Post #158, and Barrington High School Boosters and Quarterback Clubs.
Corliss D. Anderson died on March 12, 2016, in Barrington, and is buried at Evergreen Cemetery.
