Edwin John “Skip” Houlihan was born June 27, 1931, in Libertyville, to Edwin and Frances (Suydam) Houlihan.

Houlihan served in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Corporal.

On October 7, 1955, he married Sara Ann “Sally” Ahrens; they raised three children.

Corporal Edwin Houlihan passed away peacefully September 26, 2019 in Chicago, and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
