James E. Herrlin

James Edwin “Jim” Herrlin was born in Barrington on December 1, 1931, to Edwin M. and Selma (Landwer) Herrlin.

He married Dolores “Dede” Bohn on November 15, 1952; they had two children.

After graduating Barrington High School and serving in the U.S. Navy, Herrlin opened Herrlin/Studio photography. He excelled for 50+ years as a Pro/Commercial Photographer, shooting architectural, advertising, aerial, wedding & forensic photographs.

He also qualified for his Private Pilot's license and acquired his Real Estate license.

James E. Herrlin died March 20, 2020, in his Barrington home, and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
