Tom E. Kolacia

Thomas Edward Kolacia was born August 17, 1921, in Bettendorf, Iowa, to Thomas and Rosie (Kasjarck) Kolacia.
He grew up in Cicero, were he married Genevieve “Jean” Hornof on July 31, 1943; they raised three children.
In 1944, Kolacia served in U.S. Army during World War II, in Patton’s 3rd Army in central Europe.
After the war, he worked in the tool and die industry as a plastic mold maker, retiring in 1991.
Tom Kolacia died November 17, 2009, in Barrington, and is interred with his wife in Evergreen Cemetery there.
