PFC Lester A. Faulkner

Lester A. Faulkner was born on October 31, 1895, in Wesley Township, Will County, to Lycurgus and Elizabeth (Wandless) Faulkner.
The family moved to Barrington in 1915, and Faulkner worked for Schroeder Hardware Company before and after his military service. He served in the Headquarters Troop of the Blackhawk Division, which was briefly deployed to Europe late in the war.
He married Mildred Lageschulte in Barrington, on November 3, 1920; they had two children.
PFC Lester Faulkner died unexpectedly December 10, 1928, in Elgin; he is buried with his parents, wife and children at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.
