Donn P. Branstrator

Donn Paul Branstrator, was born April 7, 1934, in Orlando, Florida, to Wayne and Marie (Schauer) Branstrator.

He was a graduate of Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, where he received a B.S. degree in Geology, and Indiana University, where he earned a Master's Degree in Education.

On June 28, 1958, he married Marion “Anne” Beierlein in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and together they raised two children.

Branstrator served in the U.S. Naval Reserves.

He became a teacher and Principal at Countryside School and at Sunny Hill School in Barrington, retiring in 1993.  He was civic-minded, serving as a Trustee for the Village of Barrington and a member of the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club.

Donn Branstrator passed away suddenly on October 29, 2006, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, and rests with his wife at Evergreen Cemetery.
