Peter Edward Trojnar was born in East Chicago, Indiana, on March 31, 1926, the son of John and Marya (Bardyjan) Trojnar.
Trojnar enlisted in the US Army on July 31, 1945, and served with the 2107th ASU, MP Section during World War II. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in December, 1946.
Trojnar married Catherine Golaszewski on June 3, 1950; they raised three children.
He worked many years for the US Post Office in East Chicago, retiring to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 1985. He enjoyed both woodworking and fishing.
Sgt. Trojnar passed away August 8, 2010 in Kingsford, Michigan, and rests at Evergreen Cemetery.
