John P. Frazee

John Paul Frazee was born on July 7, 1842 in Indiana to Joseph Samuel and Mary Elizabeth (Stone) Frazee.

He was a Veteran of the Civil War, having enlisted September 12, 1861, and served until its close, discharged on July 22, 1865.

He married Sarah Catherine “Kate” Stone on September 21, 1866 in Fayette County, Indiana.

He was a carpenter by trade, and remained in Indiana until the turn of the century when he and his wife moved to Sioux City, Iowa. Frazee moved to Barrington with his ailing wife in 1923, to live with his daughter Anna (Mrs. Frank Seaverns), and remained there until his death.

Veteran John Frazee died on May 24, 1925, and rests at Evergreen Cemetery with his wife and daughter.
