Julia E. Ward

Julia Eugenie Eby was born May 18, 1916 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Charles and Amelia M. (Wiegand) Eby.

Miss Eby served during World War II as a nurse in the US Army.

She was married to Benjamin G. Ward on August 13, 1954 in Los Angeles.

After the war, Ms. Ward lived in California, then Missouri.  She later returned to Illinois to be near family.

Second Lieutenant Ward died January 8, 2003, in Crystal Lake, and rests in Evergreen Cemetery.
