Ewald Sieg

Ewald 'Ed' Sieg Born in Gulbinschken, Lithuania on November 20, 1935.

He arrived in the United States at age 21 and obtained a GED. He served 5 years in the US Army, both Infantry and Airborne, from 1958 to 1964, and told of his 17 jumps, all successful.

Sieg thoroughly enjoyed working, retiring on his 80th birthday. He made many contributions to research and inventions at Weber Grill, Shure Brothers and Sunbeam; he was cited on more than 10 patents filed during his time at Weber-Stephen Products.

He enjoyed skiing, dancing, tennis, and annual visits to his family in Germany.

Veteran Ewald Sieg passed away after contracting COVID-19, on December 13, 2020, and rests in peace at Evergreen Cemetery.
