G. H. P. Barnum of Waukegan, called here Friday on his way to Springfield and Decatur to the conventions.

The Oriental Entertainment given by Prof. Marks, at the Baptist Church Tuesday evening, was well attended. Several ladies and gentlemen were dressed in the costumes of bible times. The painting of scenes in Palestine were very interesting and well worth seeing.

The Barrington 2nd nine played the Zurich boys last Thursday and defeated them by a score of 25 to 24.

The plank for the crosswalks over the railroad tracks has reached here and the carpenters are at work.
